Gua Sha & Cupping

Gua Sha

A specialized tool which is gently rubbed over the skin to release muscle tension, tightness and constriction. It can also remove toxins from the body.

 

 

 

Cupping

A therapy in which the Acupuncturist places a glass or plastic “cup” over specific areas of the body to stimulate Qi and blood flow with in the superficial muscle layer. The “cup” can be moved over an affected area or left in place.

 

Cupping is an ancient technique that is still used by modern practitioners.
